The Gefen ADA-DP-2-MDPF is a DisplayPort to Mini-DisplayPort Adapter (F) that
connects DisplayPort devices and extenders to Mini-DisplayPort displays.
Mini-DisplayPort is a miniaturized version of DisplayPort and is widely used on
all new Macintosh computers and Apple Cinema Displays. The simplified
construction and plug-and-play design of the DisplayPort interface provides ease
of use and lower costs since one cable can be used to carry both analog and
digital audio/video. The Gefen DisplayPort to Mini-DisplayPort Adapter is
designed to connect a workstation using DisplayPort to an Apple Cinema Display.
This product also lets you to extend Apple Cinema Displays using the Gefen
DisplayPort Super Booster Cables (EXT-DPSB).
How It Works
Connect the DisplayPort connector to the computer source. Connect the Mini-DisplayPort
cable from the display to the Mini DisplayPort connector on the adapter cable.
