The Gefen ADA-DP-MATE is a female to female coupler for DisplayPort cables.
The Gefen DisplayPort Mate allows two separate DisplayPort cables to be connected together without losing the audio/video signal integrity. Increase the range of a DisplayPort monitor, or place a computer away from a DisplayPort monitor at a comfortable and convenient distance.
How It Works
Connect DisplayPort cables to each connector on the Gefen DisplayPort Mate. Doing this creates a longer and more flexible cable to make connections to DisplayPort equipment and/or DisplayPort displays more convenient. Gefen DisplayPort Mate joins two cables, transmitting the signal pin-to-pin.
*Note: The Gefen DisplayPort Mate is a non-powered passive cable coupler.
