The Gefen EXT-HDMI1.3-2-3GSDIS HDMI 1.3 to 3G-SDI Scaler outputs an HDMI signal as SDI/HD-SDI or 3G-SDI with resolutions supported up to 1080p/60 Hz and 2K (2048x1080/60) on two SDI output connectors along with dual link HD-SDI. HDMI embedded audio is supported at up to 7.1 channels.
An advanced chipset enables features such as: Genlock, Color & Gamma Correction, Noise Reduction, Detail Enhancement, Aspect Ratio Selection, Pattern Generator Mode, & Multiple Languages through on-screen display (OSD) Menu Support. The genlock reference input provides the capability of synching the unit with the customer's house signal.
How It Works
Connect an HDMI source to the input and a 3G-SDI display to the output. Power up the device and video signals are automatically converted to the proper format, enabling the conversion and scaling to take place.

- Proprietary 10-bit motion adaptive video de-interlacing with edge interpolation
- Output is mirrored onto two identical SDI outputs (BNC female)
- Max. active image size of 2048 samples x 2048 lines PBP processing
- Friendly OSD (On-Screen Menu Display) guides the user through operations
- Pattern mode w/color bars & coarse hatch patterns at 720p/60
- RS-232 serial port for field-upgradeable firmware

- Latency: 1 frame (when in Genlock mode)
