Gefen VGA to DVI Adapter

The Gefen ex-tend-it VGA to DVI adapter (EXT-VGA-2-DVI2) connects traditional analog video graphic cards (VGA) to DVI compliant digital displays. It enables users to connect PC computers with HD-15 video connections to a DVI equipped display or projector.

How the EXT-VGA-2-DVI2 works:

Simply connect the supplied VGA (M-M) cable to the input side of the VGA to DVI Adapter. Then connect the DVI or VGA display to the DVI or VGA output of the VGA to DVI Adapter. The adapter generates the appropriate analog to digital signals for the connection between the analog input and the digital output.

The main difference of this box from the VGA to DVI Conversion Box is that it has a video scaler built in.
