The ServSwitch is ideal for almost every application—from simple office
installations to large network server installations. The ServSwitch supports
PC, PC-compatible, and select SGI™, HP9000™, and RS/6000® CPUs.
The ServSwitch performs PS/2 mouse conversions, so you can combine PS/2 and
AT-style CPUs. Plus because it’s flash-ROM upgradable, it will not become
obsolete. In addition, the ServSwitch now supports USB keyboards and mice.
The switch is also rackmountable. Each ServSwitch occupies only 1U (1.75“H)
of space.
The USB to PS/2 User Cable supports newer PCs with USB keyboard and mouse connections.
By adding server and user cables that support serial signals, you can use
the ServSwitch to access serial devices such as touch screen monitors, management
ports on network devices, and other serial equipment.
Adding the audio server and user cables for the ServSwitch enables you to use
one set of speakers for multiple CPUs.
