Gefen CAT5 9000HD-NI Extender

The Gefen EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI sends your digital video display plus accompanying peripherals away from your computer so you can operate in silence or locate your CPU in a safe and secure location.  Industry standard CAT-5e cables are used to connect your computer to the remote devices and distances up to 150 feet are easily achieved.

The EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI  supports one DVI digital display , PS/2 keyboard/mouse, RS-232 for serial communication systems and two audio devices.

How the EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI works:

The EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI sender connects to your computer with the supplied cables. The receiver connects to your DVI displays and peripherals - up to 150 feet away. Multiple CAT-5 cables connect the sender (computer) and receiver (peripherals) to each other.  The EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI is HDCP compliant.

*The EXT-CAT5-9000HD-NI does not have USB core boards installed, so USB will not function, but USB cores can be add later for future upgrades.
