Question: We are a church trying to switch between two computers on our main projector. The issue we are having is the screen going to the blue "searching for signal" screen in the time right after the switch is made. Does your switcher lose the signal to the projector for a brief period of time or is it truly seamless?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no switch will be 100% truly seamless as the output is not being fed to all attached devices. When selecting new target devices, there will be some latency, however brief.

That being said, SmartAVI is a higher end manufacturer, and as such will have far less latency and a shorter transition time then entry level products.

When suggesting video switchers, we will most often recommend switches from SmartAVI, like this one, or products from Adder, another high end switching manufacturer.
