The Gefen EXT-CAT5-2000I USB Extender extends VGA, keyboard and mouse (PS/2 or ADB), RS232, USB, and audio up to 330 feet from your computer. The CAT5•2000I-USB keeps your desk clutter-free, relocating your computer to a safe and secure area, allowing you to work in a quieter environment.
How the Gefen EXT-CAT5-2000I works
The CAT5•2000I-USB S sender unit sits next to your computer. Cables supplied with the CAT5•2000I-USB package connect your computer to the send unit. The CAT5•2000I-USB R receive unit sits next to your monitor, keyboard and mouse - up to 330 ft. away. Your monitor, keyboard and mouse plug into the back of the CAT5•2000I-USB receive unit. CAT5 cables connect the CAT5•2000I-USB S and the CAT5•2000I-USB R units to each other.
