The Gefen EXT-MINIDVI-142 is a Mini DVI Hub which allows computers with DVI output to be connected to two or more DVI displays at the same time. This DVI hub is a flexible distribution hub that can accommodate multiple displays when two or more Mini DVI Hubs are connected together to create a greater distribution.
How Gefen Mini DVI Hub works:
The DVI Hub is connected with a DVI cable from the DVI source to the Mini DVI Hub input. There are two DVI outputs. DVI output 1 is the primary connection and is used for the main display. DVI output 2 follows the main display.
Note: Only output #1 of the Mini DVI Hub is HDCP pass-through. Please use the HDMI Splitter (EXT-HDMI-142) if you require two HDCP compliant outputs.
