The FT11N-4 RS-232 Isolator Diode enforces a unidirectional flow of data. This is an excellent method of protecting critical equipment that is being monitored by another device. The Secure RS-232 Isolator receives an RS-232 command from any connected device and sends it unidirectionally forward to its destination device, ensuring no return signal from the destination to the originating device.

The FT11N-4 is especially suited to protect against data leakage in any scenario where command and monitoring information is sent between two otherwise separated networks. SCADA, System synchronization, control commands, and information sharing can all be done securely via the FT11N-4 Secure RS-232 Isolator.
