The Raritan Cat5 Reach UKVM is a Transmitter unit with RJ45 jack and KVM ports for local PC access. The Cat5 Reach extender system is made up of this transmitter unit and the URKVMG receiver unit (sold separately).
The Cat5 Reach system allows you to:

NOTE: KVM cables and Cat5 cables are sold separately. Use Enhanced Category 5 UTP (350 Mhz) cable, with RJ-45 connectors. Cable must conform to EIA/TIA T568B Category 5 wiring standard.

Answer: That depends on the type of cable used and the video resolution needed. According to Raritan, using standard Category 5 enhanced UTP cable with RJ45 connectors, one can expect up to 1000 feet in distance for video resolutions up to 1024 x 768 or 650 feet in length for video resolutions up to 1600 x 1200.
Question: Does the UKVM/URKMG support DVI?
