Answer: Hi Gary, thank you for your inquiry.
The Kinect V2 uses a proprietary cable port that cannot be extended using a standard USB repeater cable. However, we have heard of people successfully using the Kinect V2 Windows adapter (http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Kinect-Adapter-for-Windows/productID.308803600) and extending the USB 3.0 port from that to their Xbox using a USB repeater cable like this Icron Spectra 3001-15.
Please note that Microsoft does not currently list any extension cables for the Kinect V2, so we cannot guarantee compatibility or that there won't be any lag with the connection.
"Currently, there is not an extension cable available for the Xbox One Kinect sensor. If the 9-foot cable that came with your sensor is not long enough, we recommend that you reconfigure your play space by moving the sensor and console closer together." (http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/kinect/kinect-extension-cable)
Question: Can I use a powered USB hub at the end of this to effectively make it a 4 port extender?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry,
You can certainly add an external Hub to increase the number of ports. Just make sure it is a USB 3.0 self powered hub. The 3001-15 only extends USB 3.0, so the hub won't support USB 2.0 and 1.1.
