2-Port Dual-head Secure Pro DP to HDMI KVM Switch with KB/Mouse USB emulation and CAC port
SDHN-2D-P: Ultra-Secure KVM Switching
The SDHN-2D-P is a 2-port, dual-head DisplayPort to HDMI Secure KVM switch with a dedicated CAC port and support for 4K (3840×2160 @ 30Hz) resolution video. The SDHN-2D-P allows users to control KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) operation on up to four computers with HDMI monitors. It features mechanical, electrical and optical signal isolation to prevent hacking and data leakage in environments where security is paramount.
With the SDHN-2D-P, all data relays are controlled by inverted signals, shielding connections from outside intrusion by forcing them each to work one at a time. Each port uses its own isolated data channel and each unit features non-reprogrammable ROM to better protect the switch's functions. Better yet, the SDHN-2D-P offers the highest security when accessing classified and public networks over the internet through these isolated connections. By isolating connections between networks, the SDHN-2D-P ensures no data is leaked between secure ports and the outside world.
The SDHN-2D-P has clearly marked front-panel buttons for controlling the device, so securely switching between sources is always simple. For high-grade secure switching made easy, look no further than the SDHN-2D-P.

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry.
All NIAP-certified Secure KVM Switches, like this SmartAVI SDHN-2D-P, are designed to filter out and block any non USB-HID (USB Human Interface Device), such as transparent USB Hubs, for security reasons; You would not be able use the USB Hub part of your keyboard with a NIAP-certified KVM. For more information on features & benefits of NIAP Secure KVMs, please refer to our Secure KVM Switch Guide.
That being said, since the Das Keyboard Prime 13 appears to have separate USB connections for the Keyboard & Hub, you should be able connect the keyboard to a non-NIAP certified KVM switch that features USB Peripheral Device Hub ports - Plug the Keyboard into the KVM Keyboard USB port, and the Keyboards USB Hub port into the KVM Switches USB Hub port. For a similar, but not NIAP-certified, KVM Switch, you may be interested in the SmartAVI DPN-4DUO. Note, since the DPN-4DUO KVM switch does not explicitly states support for this model of the Das Keyboard, we are unable to guarantee compatibility - you may also want to contact Das Keyboard to see if they know of any compatibility issues with this model of keyboard and KVM switches.
