The NTI XTENDEX KVM extender (ST-C5KVMRS-600) provides local and remote KVM (PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse and VGA monitor) access to a PC or NTI KVM switch up to 300/600 feet using CAT5/5e/6 UTP cable.

Does that mean that once this has been done (download the DDC data) that the data is stored and kept internally at the KVM and will be used each time as the default setting when the PC reboots to identify the resolution until you initiate the push button again?
