    Expand up to 256 source computers simply by linking Cat6 Combo KVM units using CBC-6 cables. The UIP-802 KVM automatically detects up to 8 levels of cascade connections, which can be made up of a mix of U-801 / U-1601 / U-3201 KVM switches.

    For mission critical applications, Cat6 Combo series now supports dual power inlets (Dual-AC). If one source fails, the UIP-802 will switch sources so as not to interrupt normal use of the connected servers. Alternatively, customers can also get DC power input integrated into the KVM.

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm this unit does support multilingual OSD menu, advanced user profiles and editable hot-key combinations. We are waiting to hear back form the manufacturer on the support for the dual power with fail-over.

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. This KVM switch ships with the main switch, the mounting set (brackets and screws), and a power cord.

In addition to the switch, you will need to purchase the appropriate dongles for each attached server.

The DG-100 for PS/2 and VGA
The DG-100S for USB and VGA
The DG-100SD for USB and DVI

CAT5/5e/6 cable is also required to connect each dongle with the KVM switch.

Question: Please provide me the Package Contents of U-IP802 along with RJ45 cables will providing or not Please conform.
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. This device ships with the switch, mounting bracket, and power cord. For the most flexibility in instillation, the unit does not ship with CAT5 RJ45 cables.

Question: Do the Cyberview UIP802 units support using DSRIQ dongles or do they require the Cyberview DG units?

The U-IP802 would require the Cyberview DG dongles. DSRIQ dongles are proprietary and would only work with certain Avocent KVMs.

This IP based method employs enterprise grade security using AES encryption and RSA public key authentication. For more information on remote IP control and management of the U-IP802, please refer to the U-IP802 KVM-Over-IP Manual .

Note, CyberView is planning on coming out with a Java-free interface in the near future, but for now if you prefer a solution without Java, please refer to our Java-free IP KVMs page.
