The D117-802e is a 1U Dual Slide Rackmount LCD Monitor with 17" Samsung LCD with integrated 2-console (1 x local; 1 x remote), 8 port Combo DB-15 KVM Switch. The keyboard is a 104 key notepad keyboard with touchpad mouse. The Dual Slide technology allows the LCD to be left up/open when the rack door is closed.

Question: Can I use a DB9 connector to input serial data to this KVM?
Answer: Unfortunately no, only - VGA + USB or PS/2 for the server end, and - D5 (VB1GA, USB KB & MS) for the console port are supported for this rack LCD/KVM.
Additionally, our manufacturers could not come up with a KVM drawer with native DB9 support, but this Raritan product may suit your needs: https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/dkx2-108.html.
Question: Does this model have a reset button?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. There is not reset button per se. When using the administrator log-in for the KVM, there is a Hot-key sequence to preform a reset back to factory settings (except user security settings). Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock + R.
