Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the ADDERView 4 PRO DVI MultiScreen will support dual 1600x1200 displays.
Question: Will there be a model of this switchbox any time soon with USB 3.0?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. According to Adder, they are working on adding support for USB 3.0 to certain products. However, no timeline was given in terms of how quickly the roll-out will happen nor to which specific products USB 3.0 support will be added.
A major hardware upgrade would be required to add USB 3.0 support to the AV4PRO series, so adding support to this KVM will probably take much longer than other product sets.
Question: What is the voltage level for the external control signals?
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. According to out Adder contact the voltage level is as follows: 5V, 100mA max.
Question: Are there ANY switchboxes you are aware of that can handle two DVI monitors (2 or 4 computers is fine) that DO have switchable USB 3.0?
Answer: We are waiting on some confirmation on the functionality from the manufacturer, but the only dual monitor DVI KVM that supports USB 3.0 we could track down is the Avocent SC945 (https://www.kvm-switches-online.com/sc945.html). This device does have one USB 3.0 port for peripherals, but as it is a secure KVM, it may limit the types of peripheral that can be attached. When we hear a definitive answer, we will update this post.
